The role

The Presales Engineer is the technical half of every evaluation in the territory. The platform is demonstrated on the customer’s own systems — the domain logon, a RADIUS-protected VPN, a privileged session, a service account behind the LDAP proxy — and the Presales Engineer makes that work, then answers what the customer’s engineers ask next.

What you will do

• Run demonstrations and proofs of concept of all seven modules, on-premise and SaaS, on customer and partner infrastructure.
• Design the deployment for each opportunity: which modules, where they run, how they integrate with the directory, the VPN, the privileged estate.
• Answer security questionnaires and technical RFP sections with the documentation and the feature matrix.
• Enable partner engineers so that they can run first-level evaluations themselves.
• Bring field findings back to product management and documentation.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, Windows and Linux logon, RDP and SSH.
• Three or more years in a presales or consulting role for security software; MFA or privileged access experience preferred.
• The ability to explain an architecture to a CISO and to debug a bind failure with an engineer, in the same afternoon.
• Scripting is an advantage. Based in Texas, able to travel.
