About the role:

Justteachers is recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher for a secondary school in the Boston area. This full-time maternity cover role will commence in January and is expected to continue for the full academic year.
The school is passionate about inspiring students through language and literature whilst fostering confidence, creativity and ambition.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons which challenge and support learners
Marking, assessment and pupil progress tracking
Supporting extracurricular literacy initiatives

Pre-requisites:

UK QTS
Recent experience teaching English at secondary level
Excellent subject knowledge
Strong classroom management skills
High expectations for student achievement and engagement
