Teacher of Business Studies

About the role:

justteachers is recruiting a Teacher of Business Studies for an inclusive and popular secondary school in Harrogate. This full-time role starts in January 2027 and offers the opportunity to bring business concepts to life through engaging, relevant teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons that connect learning with real-world examples.
• Assess pupils’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel confident to contribute.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils’ learning.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification, subject to the school’s requirements.
• Strong Business Studies subject knowledge and the ability to plan, deliver and assess learning at secondary level.
• Effective classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupils’ welfare.
• Availability to start in January 2027 and work full-time.
