Cover Supervisor

About the role:

We are on the look-out for an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a welcoming Secondary Academy in Lincoln City Centre. This is a full-time role but is open to part-time candidates also. The role is starting ASAP and will be on a long-term supply basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
• Covering classes across KS3-KS4
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide support to departments and contribute to the wider school environment
• Maintain a calm, safe, and respectful classroom atmosphere

Pre-requisites:

• Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all abilities.
• Friendly, positive, and confident demeanor with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
