Teacher of Boys' PE

About the role:
Justteachers is recruiting a full-time Teacher of Boys’ PE to work in a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Harrogate to start in January. This is a long term supply role which is expected to last until the end of the academic year on a full time basis.  The school are hoping to recruit a teacher with experience of managing after school clubs and sports fixtures with a genuine passion for their subject who can instil a love for sport and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Support students with practical and theoretical exam preparation.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activities.

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools.
Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Ability to provide two education-based references.
