SEND Teaching Assistant

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Coventry to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with ADHD and Autism. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong inclusion team and uses structured routines, individual learning plans and positive reinforcement to help pupils access education. You will work closely with teachers to provide consistent support throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
• Help pupils manage attention, transitions and emotional regulation
• Use visual prompts and structured learning activities
• Encourage independence and positive classroom participation
Pre-requisites:

Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
