Psychology Teacher

About the role:
Justteachers Supply Agency are seeking a full-time Psychology Teacher to work with one of our partner secondary schools based in the Coventry area. This role is on a long-term basis, expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent. The role is expected to start ASAP.
You will collaborate with the department and fellow teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective lessons across the relevant key stages, ensuring students remain focused and supported throughout the placement. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering high-quality lessons, evaluating pupils’ progress, and tailoring your teaching methods to accommodate different abilities and learning requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach both KS4/KS5 Psychology, including full classroom responsibilities
Manage classroom behaviour, following the schools policy
Work with a mixture of abilities, including pupils with SEND

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across the required key stages
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
An enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
