Pay: £92.62–£105 per day DOE (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)

Job Description

Justteachers is recruiting a proactive Learning Support Assistant to work in a primary school in Narborough. The successful candidate will help pupils access classroom learning, build independence and feel supported throughout the school day.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and can provide practical, patient support to children with a range of learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils during whole-class and small-group activities
• Help children understand instructions and complete learning tasks
• Prepare classroom materials and resources
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Provide additional support with literacy and numeracy
• Work closely with teachers to monitor pupil progress

Pre-requisites:

• Experience with children in a school or childcare setting is desirable
• Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to support pupils with varied learning needs
• Right to work in the UK, professional references and enhanced DBS clearance
