EYFS Teaching Assistant

About the role:

We are currently on the look-out for a nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to work at community primary school in Louth. This is a full-time and long-term supply position due to start ASAP.

The successful candidate will be expected to the schools Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team and provide high-quality support for pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children in EYFS with their learning and development through play and structured activities
• Assist the room lead with planning and classroom management
• Working 1:1 when required
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment

Pre-requisites:

• Recent EYFS/Nursery experience is essential
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Ability to provide two education or school based references
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• Ability to provide a safe learning environment
