Cover Supervisor

About the role:

Justteachers are looking for a committed Cover Supervisor to join a Bradford Secondary School. This is a long-term role with both full and part-time hours being considered.

The successful Cover Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high quality learning across the school. We require someone to start as soon as possible however working days are flexible each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students to stay on task and make progress
• Supervise students during non-teaching times when required
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team

Pre-requisites:

• Have experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Are confident managing groups and communicating clearly
• Stay calm, positive, and professional under pressure
• Are flexible and willing to work across different subjects and year groups
• Are enthusiastic about helping students succeed
• Two references with one relating to working with children or young people
