CNC Milling Programmer/Operator

Humber Recruitment are currently resourcing a CNC Milling Programmer/Operator for a client of ours based in Hull on a full-time basis.
 
Role Overview
​We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client’s team. Working within a busy machine shop, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines producing high-quality precision components.
​Key Responsibilities

Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls
Manufacturing precision components to specifications and engineering drawings
Producing a variety of different components
Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes
Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections
Ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
Experience programming at the machine
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Competent in the use of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
