About the role

Site Civil Associate Project Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for a Site Civil Associate Project Manager to support the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role would suit a technically capable and organised professional with experience coordinating site-based activities, managing stakeholders and contributing to projects from planning through to completion.

Working alongside project managers, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants, you will help ensure that works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and in accordance with agreed quality standards. You will be expected to take ownership of assigned tasks while providing reliable support across multiple project workstreams.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of civil engineering and site development projects.
  • Monitor construction progress, programme milestones, costs, quality and compliance with approved designs.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, reports and construction documentation.
  • Attend site meetings, progress reviews and design coordination sessions, recording actions and following up to completion.
  • Support risk management, change control, procurement and project reporting activities.
  • Identify potential delays, technical challenges or site constraints and help develop practical solutions.
  • Promote high standards of health and safety, environmental responsibility and professional conduct.

About you

You will have relevant experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or a related discipline, together with a sound understanding of site delivery and project management principles. A relevant degree, HNC, HND or equivalent professional experience is desirable.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You should be confident working independently, comfortable managing competing priorities and willing to spend time on active project sites when required.

Experience with project management systems, construction documentation and industry-standard health and safety procedures would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while contributing to varied and technically demanding civil engineering projects.
