About the role
Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects from initiation through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive professional who can bring structure, clarity and momentum to complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders.
You will be responsible for establishing project plans, managing budgets and monitoring progress against agreed milestones. Working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers.
- Coordinate project teams and ensure clear ownership of actions and deliverables.
- Monitor performance, dependencies, risks and issues, taking appropriate corrective action.
- Prepare regular progress reports and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders.
- Manage changes to scope, timescales and costs through appropriate governance processes.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, workshops and reviews, ensuring decisions and actions are documented.
- Support lessons-learned activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes.
About you
You will have proven experience managing projects in a fast-paced or multi-disciplinary environment, with a strong understanding of project management principles, governance and reporting. You will be confident managing competing priorities and comfortable working with people at all levels.
Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to analyse information, identify potential challenges and make sound, timely decisions. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience will also be valued.
This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact, develop strong professional relationships and contribute to the successful delivery of important organisational objectives.
