We are looking for a Teamcenter QA Specialist to support a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment covering engineering and manufacturing systems.

The Teamcenter QA Specialist will establish and execute the testing, validation and evidence strategy for Teamcenter/SLM capability trials.

The role is particularly important for demonstrating that data, relationships, configuration and changes remain correctly traceable across the E2E digital thread.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the Teamcenter/SLM test and validation strategy.
• Define test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Develop E2E digital-thread test scenarios covering:
  • Engineering change
  • Product configuration
  • Maintenance change
  • In-service issue
  • Training impact
  • Supplier change
  • Product change.
• Validate:
  • Data integrity
  • Product structures
  • Revision
  • Configuration
  • Effectivity
  • Relationships
  • Change propagation
• Test Teamcenter integrations and data exchanges.
• Validate data imported into and exported from Teamcenter.
• Support integration testing with external systems.
• Develop traceability matrices linking requirements → processes → data → test evidence.
• Capture defects, analyse root causes and manage retesting.
• Support test execution across different Teamcenter environments.
• Produce test reports and evidence packs.
• Support customer demonstrations and maturity assessment activities.
• Identify capability gaps and distinguish between:
  • Product limitation
  • Configuration issue
  • Integration issue
  • Data-quality issue
  • Process issue.
• Contribute to final maturity assessment and implementation recommendations.

Skills and experience

• 5+ years in software/PLM testing, preferably with Teamcenter.
• Strong experience with Teamcenter testing and validation.
• Experience testing PLM/engineering systems and integrations.
• Understanding of:
  • Product structures
  • Configuration management
  • Change management
  • Revision/effectivity
  • Data migration
  • API/integration testing.
• Experience creating structured test strategies and traceability.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Teamcenter SLM experience.
• Teamcenter integration testing.
• S-Series/IPS knowledge.
• Aerospace/defence experience.
• Digital-thread testing.
• Automated testing/API testing experience.
• Experience with SQL/data validation.
• Experience with formal customer acceptance testing.
