As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners  with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.

We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.

WHY JOIN US

  • The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms.
  • We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Mission Simulation team is a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment bringing together AI research, military expertise, and system design. Currently a team of three with plans to expand to at least six by the end of 2026, we cultivate a deep-dive mentality focused on solving hard technical problems at their root. We operate with high autonomy and fast-paced startup agility, encouraging team members to challenge standard approaches and deliver lean, high-value system design.

YOUR MISSION

As an IT Systems Technician, you will be the hands-on force bridging our software and physical hardware. You will physically assemble, configure, and secure our high-performance simulator infrastructures. Whether setting up powerful Windows-based simulation rigs for external demos or configuring robust WSL/Ubuntu environments for our internal developers, you ensure our setups run flawlessly and securely.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK

  • Assemble and maintain physical hardware infrastructures, ranging from ruggedized mobile demonstration kits to permanent, high-fidelity Simulation lab environments.
  • Configure dual-ecosystem workstations, ensuring the seamless operation of Windows-based simulation engines alongside WSL/Ubuntu development environments.
  • Implement strict IT security protocols, including firewall configurations and GPOs, for both internal labs and external field deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve physical hardware, operating system, and network bottlenecks directly at the simulation setup alongside engineering teams.
  • Manage the full physical lifecycle of IT assets within the Mission Simulation team, handling everything from hardware provisioning to structured rack cabling.
  • Automate routine OS installations, network configurations, and system updates using PowerShell or Bash scripts.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION

  • Proven hands-on experience as an IT Systems Technician, Systems Administrator, or in a similar hardware integration role.
  • Strong expertise in assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining physical hardware and simulator infrastructures, including structured rack cabling.
  • Solid knowledge of configuring dual-ecosystem workstations (Windows engines and WSL/Ubuntu environments).
  • Experience applying IT security protocols, GPOs, and firewall configurations.
  • Ability to write PowerShell or Bash scripts for OS deployment and configuration automation.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with mobile demonstration kits and field deployment setup.
  • Familiarity with high-fidelity simulation environments or defense technology hardware setups.
  • Prior experience working in cross-functional engineering and research teams.

If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English. We're looking forward to meeting you!
