ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Finance & Controlling team acts as the financial backbone and strategic partner across Stark. YOUR MISSION

As Tax Manager at Stark, your mission is to shape, oversee, and continuously optimize our global tax and transfer pricing frameworks. You will serve as the subject matter expert for cross-border tax strategy, compliance, and auditing, ensuring our financial structure is fully aligned with national and international regulations while supporting Stark's strategic growth in the defence sector.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK

  • Prepare and update transfer pricing documentation (Local File, Master File) and contribute to the further development of the global transfer pricing framework and internal policies.
  • Ensure proper mapping and documentation of intercompany transactions (e.g. reseller agreements, cost-plus contracts).
  • Analyze and implement tax audit results, including deriving and applying necessary process and policy adjustments for cross-border matters.
  • Coordinate the timely preparation of foreign tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant reporting and documentation obligations.
  • Support the preparation of national income tax returns and the calculation of current and deferred taxes.
  • Plan and participate in projects for the digital development of the tax function and tax-relevant processes.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION

  • Completed university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in an audit firm or in the tax department of an international corporate group.
  • In-depth knowledge of national and international tax law, ideally in transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a structured and independent working style.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Passed German Tax Advisor exam (Steuerberaterprüfung) is desirable, but not strictly required.

If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English. We're looking forward to meeting you!

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Due to the nature of our work in the defence sector, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for this position. Details will be provided during the recruitment process.
