About the role

At Stark, we forge the future of European and national security through cutting-edge, AI-driven technology and unmatched engineering precision. As a premier defence technology company, our mission is clear: to equip NATO Allies and their partners  with next-generation autonomous defence platforms and advanced AI-driven software built to perform in the world’s most demanding environments.

We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.

WHY JOIN US

  • The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms.
  • We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing.

Your Mission

You turn electrical concepts and schematics into complete, production-ready design packages and wiring systems optimized for rapid manufacturing and maintenance. You aren't just drafting wire diagrams; you are ensuring that hundreds of aircraft can be assembled with zero wiring errors and absolute repeatability on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

  • Harness Documentation: Transform R&D electrical schematics into production-ready 2D/3D wire harness documentation, connector pinout tables, and comprehensive BOM packages.
  • Cable Routing & 3D Packaging: Create and maintain detailed 3D cable routing models, pinout tables, and production electrical packages within CAD/PLM environments.
  • BOM & Component Lifecycles: Manage electronic component lifecycles, qualify second-source alternatives to prevent supply chain delays, and maintain standardized CAD footprint libraries.
  • Manufacturing Collaboration: Collaborate directly with manufacturing technicians to refine cable routing paths, connector accessibility, and shielding in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Production Bring-Up: Support production line bring-up and resolve part obsolescence or supply chain alternate part validations.
  • DFMA Optimization: Partner with production leads to optimize wire dressing and connector accessibility in compact avionics bays.

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years in electrical CAD design, harness engineering, or electrical drafting in aerospace, automotive, or industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency with ECAD tools and harness design software (e.g., EPLAN, Altium, SolidWorks Electrical, or KiCad).
  • Strong knowledge of connector families (Glenair, Harwin, Amphenol, JST), wire gauge selection, shielding, and strain relief.
  • Understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
  • Working proficiency in English; NATO citizen.

If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English. We're looking forward to meeting you!

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Due to the nature of our work in the defence sector, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for this position. Details will be provided during the recruitment process.
