Sales Executive

Sales ExecutiveLocation: Hackensack, NJ (office-based with 25–40% local travel; local candidates only)Type: Full-time, permanentSalary: $80,000–$100,000 base + commission, medical, dental, LTD and 401(k)
The Company: A well-established Northeast provider of safety and communications solutions, including physical security, unified communications and emergency notification. It has 30+ years of history serving schools, businesses and municipalities.
The Role: A new-business hunter role, growing the corporate client base across North Jersey and the NY metro area. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opening doors through to negotiation and close, selling integrated solutions to business decision makers.
Key Responsibilities

Build a pipeline of new business in warehousing, manufacturing, legal, accounting, banking and contact centers
Develop referral relationships with consultants and strategic partners
Run consultative sales cycles, recommending security, communications and notification solutions
Present ROI and TCO cases to CEOs, CFOs, IT managers and operations leaders
Exceed revenue and margin quotas
Meet clients on site and attend trade shows across NJ, NYC and Atlantic City
Requirements

5+ years of outside B2B sales, with a track record of beating quota in consultative selling
Strong prospecting and new-business skills (a hunter, not account management)
Experience selling to end users and senior decision makers
Technology, security or communications sales background preferred but not essential
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
