This is a unique opportunity to lead homelessness charity Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland as we enter an exciting new phase.

For more than a decade, we’ve supported people rebuilding their lives after homelessness through accommodation, tailored support, training and work experience. Following a period of change, we’re now building a stronger and more sustainable future, creating an exciting opportunity for a new Chief Executive Officer to help shape the charity’s next chapter.

Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you’ll provide strategic leadership while overseeing the day-to-day management of the charity. You’ll lead the development of our future strategy, strengthen our retail operation, build partnerships with funders and stakeholders, and help develop a financially sustainable organisation that can support more people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 pro rata
Hours: 21-28 hours per week
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Reporting to: Board of Trustees
Closing date: Friday 30 October 2026

We’re looking for an inspiring and collaborative leader with senior leadership experience, strong commercial and financial awareness, and the ability to build effective partnerships. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of an established local charity and make a lasting contribution to the communities we serve.
