Christmas Shop Opening

Christmas shopping has arrived at Emmaus Village Carlton, with the return of our popular Christmas Shop in the chapel.

The Christmas Shop is open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am–3pm.

There is plenty to discover, from preloved Christmas decorations and festive homeware to gifts and those unexpected finds that make secondhand shopping so enjoyable. The collection is restocked every day as new donations arrive, so no two visits are quite the same.

Weekend Support Worker 

We are currently recruiting for two Weekend Support Workers to join our team at Emmaus Village Carlton

CLOSING DATE: 31 October 2026 LOCATION: Emmaus Village Carlton TYPE: Part Time WORK LOCATION: On Site

The Weekend Support Worker at Emmaus Village Carlton plays a key role in supporting companions to achieve greater independence, wellbeing and confidence within a safe and supportive community environment.

Working closely with companions over weekends, the postholder will provide both emotional and practical support, encouraging individuals to develop essential life skills, build resilience and work towards independence. The role requires a compassionate, person-centred approach and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a range of support needs.
