We are looking for a technically strong and people-focused Team Leader to lead a small engineering team working on machine vision and industrial automation projects for leading international customers mainly in the tire and automotive industry.

You will lead a team of six engineers based in Prague. Alongside people leadership, you will be directly accountable for successful delivery of projects to our customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys combining technology, people leadership, and project execution.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Vision Systems engineering team.
Drive the successful delivery of industrial automation and machine vision projects.
Coordinate external mechanical and electrical engineering partners.
Define technical direction and development priorities.
Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and ensure successful project execution.
Oversee project planning, budgets, quality, risks and timelines.
Support business development with technical expertise during pre-sales activities.
Improve engineering processes and delivery efficiency.

Position Requirements

Several years of experience leading technical or engineering teams.
Solid background in industrial automation, machine vision, robotics or manufacturing technologies.
Experience managing complex technical projects from concept to delivery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
Strong ownership, initiative, prioritization, and time management.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Professional English - daily use.
Comfortable reviewing 3D CAD models and machine layouts, and discussing machine integration with external mechanical engineering partners.
Our team primarily works with C#/.NET, HALCON and modern software development tools. Experience with similar technologies is an advantage.
