Jobs Description

  Responsibilities will included but not be limited to:

• Appointed staff, assigns tasks and monitors and reviews staff performance.
• Liaises with other staff to provide information about merchandise, special promotions etc. to customers.
• Ensures that adequate reserves of merchandise are held and that stock keeping is carried out efficiently.
• Ensures customers complaints and queries regarding sales and service are appropriately handled.
• Oversees the maintenance of financial and other records and controls security arrangements for the premises.
• Authorise payment for supplies recieved and decides on vending price, discount rates and credit terms.
• Examines quality of merchandise and ensures that effective use is made of advertising and display facilities.

  Pay: £41,700 annually

  Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week (including half an hour lunch)

• Headquarter: 253-255 Old Heath Road, Colchester.
• Fulham Branch: 396 North End Road. Fulham, London, SW6 1LU.
• Wandsworth Branch: 46 Garratt Lane, Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth, SW18 4TF.
• London Dock Branch: 156 Vaughan Way, London Dock, Wapping, E1W 2EF.

  Education:

• GCSE/ A-Levels or equivalent (with three-years experience)
• BTEC/ SQA award (with one year experience)
• Degree or equivalent qualification

  Experience:

• Retail sales: 2 years
• Customer service: 2 years
• Management experience: 1 year
• Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in retail experience, preferably within a large-scale supermarket or food retail environment.

  Language:

• English
• Mandarin/Cantonese (Preferred)
• Japanese/Korean (Preferred)

  Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (Preferred)

  Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)

  Work location: In person

Skills Required

• Previous experience in a similar role, with some supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Mandarin or Cantonese speaking (Preferred).
