As a Shop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the shop and leading the shop assistant team. You'll ensure efficient customer service, maintain store standards, and contribute to the shop's success. Your responsibilities will include managing shop assistants, handling customer issues, and ensuring smooth shop operations.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assisting the Shop Manager in daily tasks, overseeing shop assistants and deputising for the Shop Manager in their absence.
• Supervising and coordinating shop assistant activities, including delegating tasks and monitoring performance, communicating any issues or concerns to the Shop Manager. 
• Training and mentoring shop assistants on store procedures, customer service, and product knowledge.
• Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors.
• Ensuring goods are arranged and labelled effectively on display shelves.
• Assisting customers in finding products and resolving customer complaints and enquiries.
• Processing customer payments and overseeing checkout procedures.
• Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers and ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.
  Ensuring the sales floor area is clean, organised, and visually appealing.
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock management.
• Placing orders for new stock to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Pay: £36,400 annually

Schedule: Full time, 50 hours per week.

Skills Required

• Previous experience in a similar role, with some supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Mandarin or Cantonese speaking (preferred).
