At Brook Meadows House, we believe that sometimes the simplest things mean the most. A friendly face, a listening ear, a shared laugh or a lovely chat over a cup of tea can make a real difference to someone’s day.

We’re looking for caring, friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and spend quality time with our residents, helping them feel connected, valued and part of their community.

What could volunteering involve?

• Enjoying a cup of tea and a friendly chat.
• Sharing hobbies, interests, memories and stories.
• Getting creative with arts, crafts and other enjoyable activities.
• Offering companionship, a listening ear and a warm, friendly presence.

You don’t need any special skills or experience, just kindness, patience and a willingness to give a little of your time. Whether you can spare a regular hour or have other time to offer, your companionship could mean the world to someone.
