We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and conscientious individual who has excellent attention to detail to join our friendly and busy Aftersales teams, working at our Skoda dealership in Durham.

The role:

The Service Advisor is a very important role within our company, you will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle. This role is ideally suited to someone who is a strong administrator with outstanding customer focus. You will be working on the Service Reception and be the first point of contact for service customers. You will be responsible for:

• Booking MOT’s, services and other repair work
• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
• Ensuring the Service Reception is always covered, and all telephone calls are answered in a timely manner.
• Dealing with technical enquires in the appropriate manner.
• Updating customers on the progress of work.
• Undertake administration tasks, creating and updating job cards, maintaining records and taking payment for work carried out.
• Recognise opportunities for up-selling and match products and services to customer needs.
• Actively participate in selling Service plans.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction and deliver a fantastic customer experience.

The Candidate:

• You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work constructively with your colleagues.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.
• Have a positive attitude and the desire to want to continually improve our service.
• Have excellent organisational skills.
• Possess a flexible approach and a positive attitude.
• Ensure work is always completed to a high standard.
