Kitemill AS, a frontrunner in airborne wind energy, is on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join our dedicated team. If you possess expertise in developing software solutions, especially for aerospace applications, and are adept at working with a range of technologies such as embedded software, databases, machine learning, web development, Julia, Elexir, LangChain, python, C++, HTML, MATLAB, and more, we would be delighted to connect with you.

Role: Software Engineer

Location: Lista, Norway

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for airborne wind energy systems.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.

·       Test and debug software components to ensure functionality and reliability.

·       Stay updated with the latest software development trends and technologies.

·       Ensure software complies with industry standards and best practices.

·       Provide technical support and documentation to the engineering and support teams.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the aerospace industry.

·       Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
