Kitemill AS, a pioneering leader in airborne wind energy, is seeking a skilled professional to take on the critical role of Compliance and IP Manager. If you have a robust understanding of regulatory compliance, intellectual property management, and industry-specific standards—particularly in the renewable energy or aerospace sectors—we want to hear from you.

Role: Compliance and IP Manager
Location: Lista, Norway

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework to align with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across the organization.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Intellectual Property Management:
  • Oversee the company’s IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, ensuring proper protection and strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with R&D and legal teams to identify, secure, and manage new IP assets.
  • Stay informed about global IP trends and advise the company on potential opportunities or risks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and IP considerations are integrated into operational decisions.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations as needed.
• Training and Awareness:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on compliance requirements and IP management practices.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and innovation across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance and/or IP management, preferably in the renewable energy or aerospace sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and IP law.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications in compliance or IP management are an advantage.
