About Intropic

At Intropic, we combine financial market expertise with AI to turn complex information into clear, actionable intelligence. We value curiosity, independent thinking and ownership.

The Role

We're looking for a Research Analyst with experience working on M&A events. You'll produce in-depth research for professional investors and help raise the quality of our research and data.

Who we're looking for

Someone who has worked on M&A events and takes real pride in high-quality work. You think in a structured way, write clearly, and make sound judgements under time pressure, even when the information is incomplete.

What you'll do

  • Produce in-depth research and analysis on M&A events for professional investors
  • Develop clear, well-reasoned insights through independent research
  • Monitor ongoing M&A developments and add new information to our research coverage
  • Help improve our research, data and analytical tools

Must have

  • Previous experience working on M&A events
  • Strong drive and ambition, with a sense of ownership and pride in high-quality work
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Clear written communication and the ability to explain complex information concisely
  • Structured thinking, sound judgement and the ability to prioritise what matters
  • Comfortable working under time pressure and with incomplete information
  • Quantitative fluency, including basic probability, compounding and scenario analysis
  • Strong academic performance

Nice to have

  • Experience with analytical tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience using AI tools to support research and analysis
  • Familiarity with regulatory filings and primary-source research
  • Additional language skills, particularly European languages

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our London office.
