HIL Engineer – AD/ADAS Development

About the Assignment

We are looking for a HIL Engineer with strong dSPACE experience to join an exciting assignment within advanced driver assistance systems (AD/ADAS) at a leading automotive manufacturer in Gothenburg.

You will be part of a team responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments that support the next generation of AD/ADAS development.

The organization operates both Sensor HIL and Domain HIL environments, providing essential testing and simulation capabilities for automotive software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize HIL environments using dSPACE.

• Update and improve plant models used in HIL simulations.

• Develop automation solutions to improve HIL testing efficiency.

• Ensure HIL systems are operational, reliable, and available for development teams.

• Provide interfaces and tools that enable engineers to effectively use HIL environments.

• Collaborate with development and verification teams working on AD/ADAS functionality.

Required Skills

Must-have:

• Hands-on experience with dSPACE in a HIL environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.

• Python programming and test automation.

• Previous experience within automotive development, particularly AD/ADAS.

• Experience with Sensor HIL or Domain HIL environments.
