Job Description

We are seeking a PV Fitter based in Southwater.

Our client is an experienced, MCS-accredited installer of renewable energy systems, operating since 2004. Specialize in installing and maintaining solar PV systems, air source heat pumps, Tesla Powerwall batteries, and solar hot water systems. Renowned for the technical expertise, superior workmanship, and outstanding customer service, they are the longest-established solar business in the South East of England. 

Job Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a PV Fitter based in Southwater. The PV Fitter will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems. Daily tasks include assembling and installing solar system components, inspecting and troubleshooting systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and working collaboratively with a team to complete projects effectively and efficiently.

Job Requirements 

• Experience with Solar PV installations, general electrical wiring, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work safely at heights and perform physical tasks in outdoor environments

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with project teams

• Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are advantageous

• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally

• Health and safety knowledge and certifications are beneficial
