RESIDENTIAL SOLICITOR – HARROW

We’re currently working with a large national law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Solicitor to join its established conveyancing team in Harrow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to join a well-resourced national practice offering a great benefits package, career development opportunities and the flexibility of hybrid working following probation.

The role

You will handle residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post-completion, managing your own caseload and working closely with clients and colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing residential sales and purchases

• Handling remortgage and equity release transactions

• Reviewing and checking freehold and leasehold titles

• Dealing with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers

• Providing support, guidance and training to conveyancing assistants

• Developing client relationships and contacts within the local area

• Identifying opportunities to cross-refer clients to other departments

• Providing cover for other offices when required

• Maintaining strong and professional working relationships across the firm

• Working in accordance with the firm's policies, procedures and professional standards

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential property

• Strong experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload

• Good knowledge of the Harrow/local area

• Confident dealing with clients and managing matters from instruction through to completion

• Strong technical knowledge across freehold and leasehold transactions

• Professional, organised and commercially aware

• Someone who can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
