Job Title: Neck Ring Repairer
Responsible to: Mould Shop Manager
Reporting positions: None
Location: Rotherham
Shift Pattern: Days / Afters Rotating (Monday-Friday)

Main Areas of Responsibility

• Repair neck rings to job specification as required.
• Prepare neck equipment in accordance to the plan set.
• Record all neck repair work on report sheets.
• Provide enough equipment for continuous production for days and nights.
• Monitor and replenish neck ring stock levels for production as required.
• Repair Mould and Blank equipment to specification ready for production run as required.
• Communicate with Mould Shop Manager regarding any issues.
• Follow job specifications on job cards accurately.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set.

Person Specification

• Glass mould equipment repair experience is highly desirable.
• Strong experience using hand tools and grinding equipment.
• Previous Toolroom experience in bench fitting.
• Experience in gas welding desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is a must.
• Good organisation skills.
• Toolroom Apprenticeship trained preferred.
• Any relevant qualifications will be reviewed.
