We’re recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician to join a successful automotive business based in Sandy. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys a varied workload, fault finding, diagnostics and repair work across multiple vehicle makes and models.

Basic salary of £35,000 – £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Regular overtime available during weekdays and Saturdays

The Role
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
Diagnosing and rectifying electrical, mechanical and technical faults.
Performing vehicle inspections and identifying additional work requirements.
Using diagnostic equipment to investigate and resolve complex issues.
Completing accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
Supporting workshop efficiency while maintaining high safety standards.
Working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

About You
To be considered, you should have:

A Level 3 Light Vehicle qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
The ability to work independently and within a team environment.
A professional attitude with a focus on quality workmanship.
A full UK Driving Licence (preferred).

MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm Lunch Break: 1 Hour Overtime Available: Weekdays and Saturdays (typically 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am – 1:00pm)
