Steel Erector

Key Responsibilities

· Erect and install structural steelwork, including beams, columns and frames.

· Position, align and secure steel components using appropriate tools and equipment.

· Read and work from structural and erection drawings.

· Carry out bolting, fixing and associated steelwork activities.

· Work safely with cranes and lifting operations.

· Coordinate with site teams, crane operators and other trades.

· Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

· Report any issues affecting safety, quality or installation.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural steel erection.

· Proven experience and ability of working at height.

· Ability to interpret structural and erection drawings.

· Good understanding of construction site safety requirements.

· Good English communication skills.

· Physically fit and capable of working in an outdoor construction environment.

· Willingness to travel and work on sites throughout Ireland.

· Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team.
