The Reality Employers Are Facing

Employers are under increasing pressure to create inclusive working environments while managing legal obligations, performance expectations and HR workload.

YorLinc simplifies complexity. We manage the entire process – from assessment and funding guidance to implementation and training – making workplace disability support clear, compliant and efficient.

What We Deliver

End-to-End Workplace Disability Support

We deliver practical reasonable adjustments at work through structured services that are designed to improve performance and reduce risk.

Targeted Coaching for Managers and Employees

1:1 coaching for neurodivergent and disabled employees focused on organisation, communication, confidence and role performance.

We also provide manager coaching and co-coaching to ensure adjustments are understood, embedded and sustained.

Disability Impact and
Awareness Training

Practical training that equips managers and teams to understand legal duties, implement reasonable adjustments and confidently support neurodivergent employees.

This makes sure that inclusion is embedded in practice, not just policy.

Structured Assessments
with Full Implementation

Where required, workplace needs assessments identify practical, role-specific adjustments.

Our assessment reports are designed for implementation, and we oversee the setup, integration and follow-through.

Access to Work Funding
Strategy and Guidance

We advise on the most efficient route to support, whether privately funded or through Access to Work.

Our assessments can be used as a funding gateway where appropriate, and we manage documentation to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Integrated Assistive
Technology Solutions

Assistive technology is only effective when properly embedded.

We provide structured training and implementation to ensure tools improve workflow, independence and productivity – not just compliance.

Ongoing Case Management
and Oversight

Support doesn’t end after delivery.

We provide ongoing review and oversight to ensure adjustments remain effective as roles evolve.

TESTIMONIALs

What People Say About Us

We deliver practical reasonable adjustments at work through structured services that are designed to improve performance and reduce risk.

“My trainer was exceptionally helpful, professional and highly knowledgeable throughout the sessions. His clear explanations, patience and supportive approach made the training both engaging and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Andy to anyone undertaking training on this software as he is truly a five-star world class trainer.”

Assistant Technology Training

“Geoff has been incredibly helpful so far. I really value our coaching sessions. I always come away with practical support as well as useful things to reflect on. His coaching style really suits me; he creates a comfortable, open space to talk, and our conversations are always thought‑provoking. I also appreciate the way he balances listening with offering clear guidance. It feels genuinely supportive and has already helped me at work. I’m looking forward to continuing our sessions.”

One-to-one Coaching

“It exceeded my expectations, and I found it to be an engaging and helpful way to get across some of the struggles myself and some colleagues have in being heard, being understood, and some of the challenges we face. I feel I know more about myself, helpful ways to explain things, and also more about the kinds of things I can champion for others with different experiences who are less likely to divulge their own neurodivergence/disabilities.”

Workplace Support FAQs

What is a Workplace Needs Assessment?
It is a professional consultation that identifies the specific tools, software, or environmental changes an employee needs to work effectively. Our experts provide a clear report with tailored recommendations for both the employer and employee.

Does an employee need a formal diagnosis to use your services?
No. We support individuals based on the challenges they face at work, whether they have a formal diagnosis or are currently exploring one.

Do you provide support for remote or hybrid workers?
Yes. We conduct assessments both face-to-face at your office and remotely via video call to ensure support is consistent wherever your team is based.

How much of the cost does the Access to Work grant cover? Depending on your company size, the grant can cover up to 100% of the costs. For larger firms, there is a small “cost-share,” but the grant still covers the vast majority of specialist equipment and support.

Can YorLinc apply for the grant on behalf of my employee? The legal application must be started by the employee, but we provide a “Guided Support” service to help them navigate the paperwork and ensure the process moves quickly.

How long does the funding process take? Timelines vary by region, but it typically takes between 4 to 12 weeks. We recommend starting the process as early as possible—especially for new starters.

Are your recommendations legally compliant? Yes. Our assessments are designed to help you meet your legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 regarding “Reasonable Adjustments.”

What happens after the assessment is finished? We don’t just leave you with a report. We help you source the recommended equipment, set up software, and provide the necessary training to ensure the adjustments are successful.
