If you've got a sharp eye for detail, you're comfortable using a computer and you like a role that keeps you moving, we want to hear from you.Scanning parcel barcodes, or typing in the tracking number when a barcode is damagedSelecting the correct options on the WorkForce Portal systemReading and checking addresses and postcodes to make sure each parcel goes to the right placeRe-printing new labels and applying them accurately over the originalPlacing relabelled parcels back onto the conveyor for sortationLoading and unloading trailersRepairing damaged parcels and changing label rollsKeeping your work area clean, safe and tidyGood written and spoken English: you'll need to read and understand addresses, postcodes and on-screen instructionsBasic computer skills (using a scanner, keyboard and simple on-screen menus)Accuracy and attention to detail; a wrong label means a lost parcelPhysically fit and able to lift parcels of up to 25kg throughout your shiftHappy to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and stand for long periodsReliable, punctual and able to work day or night shiftsPrevious warehouse, parcel or scanning experience is a bonus but not essential, as full training is provided£12.71 per hourWeekly payFull site induction and on-the-job trainingFree parkingOngoing work with the chance of temp-to-permClick apply now.
