VP of Legal (Renewables EPC)

Our Renewable Energy client is looking to hire a Vice President of Legal. The position will be responsible for providing all relevant legal support on various Corporate matters, support Project Development and Financing on multiple project and transactions. However this will have a focus on EPC as the firm enters this new exciting phase of their development. This role will manager a Paralegal in addition to managing engagement of external counsels.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Negotiation of EPC, BOP and supply agreements (modules, inverters, BESS,)Construction contracting for utility-scale solar, and storageEPC risk allocation: LDs, performance guarantees, warranties, change orders, disputesSupporting project financing: lender requirements on EPC and O&M contractsConstruction claims and dispute resolutionAssist in general corporate legal work, including Board and shareholder meetings and management of outside legal counsel and paralegals.Work with external legal advisors where necessary to supplement subject matter expertise.Base Salary up to $300k plus 50% bonus.
