Turnleaf Analytics builds AI-powered economic forecasting technology. We are hiring a hands-on engineer to lead the development of agents that use our proprietary data and forecasting models.



Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agents that translate natural-language questions into analytical workflows.
• Connect agents to data, models and APIs.
• Develop evaluations, monitoring and failure recovery to make workflows reliable.
• Work directly with the founders and forecasting team, owning architecture and production code.

You’ll have substantial technical ownership in a funded company building at the intersection of AI and economic forecasting.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong Python and production software engineering skills.
• Experience shipping LLM applications with tool use and multi-step workflows.
• Practical experience evaluating AI systems and managing reliability, latency and cost.
• Ability to take an ambiguous problem through to a working product.

Experience in time series, quantitative finance or enterprise AI is helpful. A specific degree is not required.
