AI Solution Engineer

We are looking for an AI Solution Engineer to help turn customer needs into working AI solutions.

In this role, you will build AI agents and workflows using our proprietary platform, combine platform configuration with basic coding, and connect AI tools to customer systems through APIs. Your work may include conversational assistants, knowledge-based solutions, appointment-booking workflows, classification, and other AI-powered automations.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, developers, and fellow AI Solution Engineers, and communicate with customers during implementation, testing, and the initial period after launch.

What you will do

• Build and configure AI agents and workflows using our proprietary platform.

• Write and adapt scripts to support workflow logic, data processing, and integrations.

• Connect AI solutions to customer systems through APIs, including authentication and data preparation.

• Create, test, and improve prompts and conversational flows.

• Work on solutions that use knowledge sources and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Test AI behaviour using established procedures, investigate unexpected results, and improve solution quality.

• Troubleshoot issues involving prompts, workflow logic, integrations, and data.

• Participate in customer status meetings and support customers during testing, issue resolution, and the initial post-launch support period.

• Document implementation details, technical specifications, and relevant processes.

• Depending on your experience, contribute to customer workshops and training.

• Keep developing your knowledge of AI tools and apply relevant improvements to your work.

What you bring

• Basic programming skills and an understanding of programming logic, including variables, conditions, functions, and working with structured data.

• A practical interest in AI, supported by examples of tools you have explored, experiments you have run, or solutions you have worked on.

• A basic understanding of generative AI, commonly used AI models, and their capabilities and limitations.

• Basic prompt-writing skills and an understanding of what RAG is and when it can be useful.

• Technical confidence and a willingness to work with APIs, authentication, and data preparation.

• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to solving problems.

• The ability to explain your thinking clearly, ask useful questions, and collaborate with colleagues.

• The ability, or clear potential, to communicate effectively with customers.

• The ability to communicate clearly in English.

• A proactive approach to learning, receiving feedback, and improving your work.

Experience that would be useful

• Practical AI projects, whether professional, personal, freelance, or self-directed.

• Experience with APIs, system integrations, or workflow automation.

• JavaScript programming experience.

• Experience building chatbots, virtual assistants, or knowledge-based AI solutions.

• A background in implementation, technical support, technical consulting, testing, or software development.

How you will work and grow

You will report to a Team Leader and work closely with Project Managers and your teammates. During onboarding, you will receive support from your Team Leader, a mentor, and other colleagues.

Project Managers lead project delivery, while the development team owns architecture and infrastructure. Your responsibility will focus on the AI workflows, integrations, and implementation tasks you deliver.

The level of ownership will reflect your experience. Candidates earlier in their careers will develop the skills needed to deliver complete implementations, while more experienced colleagues may take on greater independence and customer-facing responsibilities.
