Welder and Metal Machining Operator

An engineering plant in Humenné is looking for 25 welders and metal machining operators. The exact position is agreed according to your experience and a practical test.

Main responsibilities

• Welding of components or machining of metal parts according to your specialisation
• Reading technical drawings and working to the specified tolerances
• Setting up and operating the assigned machine
• Measuring parts and checking dimensions
• Visual inspection of the output and correction of defects
• Care of equipment and reporting of faults
• Following workplace safety rules

Requirements

• Practical experience in welding or in metal machining
• Ability to read technical drawings
• A valid welding certificate is an advantage; a practical test is part of the selection
• Basic English for communication at the workplace
• Willingness to work shifts
• Precision and a responsible approach to quality
