Formwork Carpenter and Steel Fixer

A construction company is looking for 25 formwork carpenters and steel fixers for a project in the Bratislava area. These are long-term construction projects.

Main responsibilities

• Assembly and dismantling of formwork systems
• Cutting, bending and tying reinforcement
• Placing reinforcement according to the project documentation
• Assistance during concreting and treatment of concrete
• Reading construction drawings and working to the specified dimensions
• Preparing the workplace and handling material
• Following workplace safety rules and working at height where required

Requirements

• Practical experience with formwork or with reinforcement
• Ability to work from construction drawings
• Basic English for communication with the site foreman
• Physical fitness for outdoor work in changing weather
• Willingness to travel between sites where the project requires it
• Reliability and a responsible approach to safety
