Food Warehouse Operative

A food warehouse in Košice, Slovakia is looking for 10 experienced warehouse operatives. Net pay is approximately €1,200–1,500 per month including overtime. Candidates already living in Slovakia or another EU country are preferred.

Main responsibilities

• Receiving, storing and dispatching food products
• Order picking and preparing shipments according to orders
• Working with handheld scanners and the warehouse system
• Checking quantities, expiry dates and condition of goods
• Keeping the warehouse clean and following food-safety and hygiene rules
• Following health and safety rules in the warehouse

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or in logistics
• Currently living in Slovakia or another EU country
• Forklift licence is an advantage
• Basic English for communication with the shift supervisor
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
• Physical fitness, reliability and attention to detail
