Car Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced car mechanic for a car service in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia. At least 3 years of experience as a car mechanic is required. Net pay about €8 per hour including bonuses, free lunch every working day and accommodation in a studio apartment directly at the service. Start from 1 January 2027.

Main responsibilities

• Diagnostics, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles
• Repair of engines, brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
• Regular servicing and inspections according to manufacturer standards
• Replacement of worn and damaged parts
• Working with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Keeping the workplace clean, safe and organised

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a car mechanic
• Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs
• Ability to work independently and accurately
• Slovak language is not required – the employer uses a translator
• Candidates already living in Slovakia or another EU country, as well as candidates from Belarus and other non-EU countries, are welcome
