This role is primarily focused on dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, making sure chefs and the wider team always have clean equipment to work with. You may also support with light prep and general kitchen tasks.

You don’t need previous experience — what matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and pride in keeping things clean and organised.

Contract: Part-time available
Pay: €14.15 per hour

What you get

What you’ll do

Keep the kitchen spotless

Clean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, sinks, equipment and utensils throughout the day so the kitchen stays safe and ready to use.

Look after equipment

Clean kitchen equipment properly, follow the correct cleaning procedures and help make sure everything is stored safely and where it should be.

Keep things organised

Make sure the kitchen is tidy, stock is stored correctly and work areas stay clear and organised throughout the shift.

Support the prep team

If you have time outside of cleaning, you can help with basic food prep, washing and preparing ingredients, and getting the kitchen set up for the day.

Stay on top of cleaning

Work through cleaning checklists, spot jobs that need doing and take action rather than waiting to be asked.

Keep food and people safe

Follow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures carefully at all times.

Jump in when it gets busy

Support the wider kitchen and restaurant team wherever needed, especially during busy periods.

You’ll probably love being a Kitchen Assistant at Sprout if...

  • You take real pride in keeping things clean and organised

  • You notice when something needs doing and get on with it

  • You don’t mind getting stuck into the less glamorous jobs

  • You like being busy and working as part of a team

  • You’re reliable and someone people can count on

  • You care about doing things properly and safely

  • You’re curious and happy to learn new skills

  • You like the idea of growing into other kitchen roles over time

If you’re looking for a role where cleaning is someone else’s job or where you can leave things for the next shift, this probably isn’t the one.

A little about experience

You don’t need previous kitchen experience, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

What matters most is that you’re willing to learn, comfortable with physical and hands-on work, and genuinely take pride in keeping the kitchen clean, safe and organised.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
