Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a colleague who will take SILON’s marketing to heart—writing, planning, coordinating, and seeing things through. You’ll be close to decision-making and opportunities that are usually reserved for more senior positions.

We build long-term collaboration on clear and open communication. Marketing at SILON plays a supporting role for management, sales, and development. The team is small and agile; you won’t receive detailed instructions, and your work will also include day-to-day operations and administrative tasks. Our field is technical. We speak to experts. We work primarily from our office in Prague’s Bubeneč district. We offer flexible working hours (we do not guarantee the option to work from home). 

If you’re looking for a purely creative role without operational tasks, or if you’re in B2C and e-commerce without any overlap into technical content, this won’t be the right fit for you. If, on the other hand, you enjoy understanding technical topics and writing about them in an accessible way, we’ll get along great.

The main job

• Texts and content—website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and press releases, in both Czech and English
• Product content—product descriptions, technical data sheets, brochures
• LinkedIn—our main channel: content creation and planning, community engagement, and paid campaigns
• Social media—Facebook, Instagram, YouTube: content creation and scheduling
• Website—management and updates for silon.eu in both Czech and English
• PR—publishing news
• Internal Communications—SILON Group’s internal magazine, newsletters, and intranet content management
• Trade Shows—planning visits and exhibitions
• Corporate and Client Events—in-house events, events for key clients, and brand awareness events
• Gifts and Merchandise
• Sponsorships and Charity – sponsorships ranging from sports to professional organizations; identifying and supporting foundation projects
• New Products and Markets – preparing for market launches, conducting research, monitoring the competition, preparing materials for entering new markets, collaborating with the R&D and Sales departments
• Administration, Analytics, and Reporting

We expect

• Excellent command of Czech and copywriting skills
• English at a minimum B2 level, which you actively use
• Practical experience with LinkedIn, including paid campaigns
• Experience with website management
• Basic graphic design skills in accordance with the brand manual
• Independence and the ability to see things through to completion
• Willingness to handle operational and administrative tasks and to travel
• A Plus
  • Experience at a manufacturing or industrial B2B company
  • Experience with trade shows or events
  • Editorial or proofreading experience
  • German
