Snapshot of the Day

As Accounting Professional, you will support the finance team during a period of increased workload driven by the S4E-Unify rollout in Czechia and Hungary. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting, timely period-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with internal controls while helping maintain business continuity throughout the transformation.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with corporate timelines.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, including management of sub-ledgers, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making and management reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial reporting guidelines while supporting process improvements.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Accountant qualification is an advantage.
• Several years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial closing, and reporting within an international environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is required, including general ledger, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide colleagues in accounting processes and tools.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 34.000 – € 41.000 gross per year.
