Are you a driven salesperson who enjoys meeting customers and introducing the latest technology for content creators?

We are looking for several Store Sales colleagues for permanent 80–100% positions at Scandinavian Photo Tech Hall at Steen & Strøm, Oslo.

This role is for you if you enjoy face-to-face customer interaction and selling based on customers' needs. You enjoy providing a high level of service, working towards clear goals and being part of a knowledgeable team.

About the Store Sales role

As a salesperson at Scandinavian Photo Tech Hall, located at the iconic and historic Steen & Strøm in Oslo, you will play a key role in delivering a world-class retail experience. At this unique store location, you will turn customer contacts into business opportunities, providing expert guidance across photo, video, audio and creator technology in a vibrant and historic shopping environment.

You will meet and sell to customers in our store, from beginners to experienced creators and professional users. You take the initiative, ask questions, demonstrate products and help customers buy a complete solution. Together with your colleagues, you will work to deliver the best customer experience and create a welcoming and inspiring store.

Your responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers in the store, identify their needs and close sales
• Demonstrate and sell photography, video, audio and IT products for content creators
• Recommend complete solutions with relevant accessories
• Work with product displays and stock replenishment
• Take part in daily store operations, including customer service, deliveries and order collection
• Contribute to a strong team spirit and a positive culture

We are looking for someone with

• At least two years of retail sales experience
• Sales skills covering everything from identifying needs to closing the sale
• A natural ability to connect with customers and provide a personal sales experience
• Product knowledge in photography, video, audio or IT, including relevant accessories
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience working towards sales targets and tracking your results
• Experience putting together complete solutions with accessories and complementary products
• Experience with product demonstrations, product displays or visual merchandising
• Hands-on experience in photography, filming, audio production or content creation

• Enthusiastic about selling and building customer relationships
• Positive, proactive and motivated by clear goals
• Easy to talk to and good at building trust with different types of customers
• Curious and keen to develop your product knowledge, customer understanding and sales skills
• Organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility in a fast-paced store
• A team player who shares knowledge and helps colleagues succeed

Positions: Several permanent 80–100% positions.

Working hours: Weekdays and weekends, according to store opening hours.
