We’re looking for a Platform Engineering Lead to join a major cloud transformation programme, taking ownership of a business-critical platform built on AWS, EKS, Terraform and GitOps.
You’ll lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on, driving platform reliability, security, automation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Platform Engineers.
Own platform operations, production readiness, DR testing and incident management.
Manage AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform and GitOps environments.
Drive secure integrations using PKI, mTLS and OAuth2/OIDC.
Define CI/CD standards, release controls and deployment pipelines.
Produce ADRs and present solutions to architecture and governance boards.
Manage platform roadmap, risks, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Strong AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and GitOps experience.
Technical leadership or team management background.
Expertise in cloud security, networking, PKI and identity management.
Experience supporting large-scale production platforms.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Exposure to AI-assisted engineering beneficial.
