HGV Class 2 Jet Vac Operator

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Jet Vac Operator to join our growing team. Working as part of a two-person crew, you will operate specialist jetting and vacuum equipment to deliver a variety of drainage services. The role involves clearing blockages, undertaking preventative maintenance, and responding to emergency callouts, always ensuring a high standard of service. Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a range of specialist Jet Vac and Recycler Tankers.
• Respond to emergency callouts, including sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of controlled and liquid waste in accordance with legislative requirements.
• Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Carry out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
• Complete all required job records and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all PPE is maintained in good condition and used appropriately.
• Support other operational teams and undertake additional duties when required, including during vehicle downtime.

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience operating Jet Vac, Recycler, or tanker vehicles.
• Drainage industry experience: 2 years
• HGV driving experience: 2 years
• High-pressure water jetting experience.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills to support personal development and business growth.
• Competent in the use of electronic tablets and mobile technology.
