Wire EDM Operator

Role of the Machine Operator:

• Setting and operating EDM machines.
• Keep within both company, and industry standards.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Achieving production targets.
• Health, safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements for the position of the Wire EDM Operator:

• Broad experience in machining within a precision or Aerospace environment.
• Capable of working with both metric and imperial measurements.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools: vernier callipers and height gauges.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience of working to close tolerances.
• Health, safety and environment compliance.
